Design Notes

It is important to produce overhangs flanking the region for the digest with specific restriction enzymes in order to secure a robust implementation into a vector system. The fragment was amplified with the primers 11 and 12.

We amplified the part from the genomic DNA of Acetobacterium woodii with specific primers by PCR.
